Easter traditions

We have a few. The day before Easter, we go to the Moosic Lions Easter Egg hunt, this is Wes' 2nd year, the first time he actually got to "hunt" for eggs. He had a blast as usual, loved following the Easter bunny around. Then when we came home, it was time to dye our eggs. I anticipated a huge mess, but Wes did great, only some blue fingers! So here are some pictures from our day.

Mr. Fancy Pants

I decided today would be the day when I would a) Dress Wes up in his Easter outfit and get some pics, and b) Attempt to use my remote and tripod to take a picture of he and I for the paper for Mother's Day. Suprisingly, it went much better than I had hoped. Wes was actually super co-operative with the M Day picture, he thought it was pretty cool that mommy could take a picture without being behind the camera! So here are some of my favorites, I haven't decided which one to use yet. And a couple of just him, not quite as good as I hoped, but better than nothing!

Sesame Street and Silliness

What a weekend! Saturday, we went to see "Sesame Street Live", who would ever think that's something I could get excited about? But Wes LOVES SS, especially Elmo, so I knew he would love it. We went last year, but I knew it would be different now, being a year older, he knows what's going on now. I was right, he got so excited, it really was fun to see. Then on Sunday, we headed down to the Crossings to do some shopping. It was a good day, Wes got some new fancy Nike sneakers, and also a bright yellow rain jacket and matching boots. I love weekends! Here's one of my fave pics from SS Live...

And for some reason, he thought it would be fun to put a bucket on his head and march around the house...that's what toddlers do!

New goal

Ok, since this 365 project is such a failure, my new goal is just to try and post more this month than last. Which really shouldn't be too hard since I posted a whopping 3 times in February! So here's my start to March. We spent the weekend in Washington, D.C., a fun place to have a camera! Of course, it was chilly, and the wind was absolutely brutal (and the day after we left, it was 70 degrees, just my luck!), but Wes and I braved the weather on a mission to be tourist-y!
